Lookin' Good For Jesus Lip Balm

A leading retailer in Singapore pulled out an entire range of cosmetics centering on a Jesus theme after receiving several complaints from local Roman Catholics.

The range, named Lookin’ Good for Jesus, was on sale at three Topshop outlets in the Asian city state.

About 15% of Singapore’s 4.4 million population is Christian.

Blue Q Web SiteThe Lookin’ Good For Jesus line of cosmetics and health care products is produced by the US-based company, Blue Q, which seemed unconcerned over this incident and has even posted in their web site, “Banned in Singapore!” while using the Pope’s image to market their shopper bag.

Kentucky Derby racing officials later concluded jockey Jose Santos was only holding his whip.
